Itinerary
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure. Take time to relax after your journey or step out to explore the vibrant streets nearby. The city’s unique blend of ancient traditions and lively modern culture offers a fascinating first impression of Nepal.

Today is dedicated to exploring the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Begin with a visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a beautifully preserved medieval city known for its intricate wood carvings, temples and traditional architecture. Here, you’ll also enjoy a special visit to a local family, offering insight into daily life and customs in Nepal. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Experience a peaceful atmosphere as you walk around the stupa and receive blessings from resident monks. Later, visit the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath Temple, located along the banks of the Bagmati River. Observe rituals and interact with sadhus (holy men), who offer a glimpse into spiritual life in Nepal. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Aarti ceremony on the banks of the Bagmati River—a deeply spiritual experience filled with chanting, music and flickering oil lamps.

After breakfast, travel to Pokhara, a scenic journey through Nepal’s countryside. En route, visit the revered Manakamana Temple, reached by a thrilling cable car ride offering panoramic views of rivers and hills. This temple is dedicated to the wish-fulfilling goddess Bhagwati and many pilgrims come here to seek blessings. Continue onward to Pokhara, a tranquil lakeside city set against the backdrop of the Annapurna mountain range. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure—perhaps a relaxing walk along Phewa Lake or a quiet evening by the water.

Start your day early with a sunrise excursion to Sarangkot, one of the best viewpoints in Nepal. Watch as the first light of day illuminates the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges—a truly unforgettable sight. Return to Pokhara for breakfast, followed by a half-day city tour. Visit Devi's Fall, a unique waterfall that disappears into an underground tunnel and explore the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, home to a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, wander through Pokhara’s charming Old Bazaar, where traditional shops, temples and local life offer a glimpse into the region’s heritage.

After an early breakfast, drive from Pokhara towards Birethanti via Nayapul, enjoying scenic views of rivers, terraced farmlands and traditional villages along the way. Upon reaching Birethanti, begin your trek following the Modi Khola valley through charming settlements such as Tikhedhunga and Hile. The trail then ascends steeply via the famous stone staircases leading to Ulleri, a beautiful Magar village surrounded by terraced hillsides and mountain scenery. This section is one of the more physically demanding parts of the trek, but the peaceful surroundings and panoramic views make the climb rewarding.

After breakfast, continue your trek through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests towards Ghorepani. The trail gradually ascends through peaceful mountain landscapes, passing small settlements such as Banthanti and Nangethanti along the way. During spring, the forests come alive with colourful rhododendron blooms, creating one of the most scenic sections of the trek. Upon reaching Ghorepani, enjoy magnificent mountain views and the charming atmosphere of this popular Himalayan village.

Early in the morning, hike to Poon Hill to witness a spectacular Himalayan sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the snow-capped peaks, enjoy one of the most iconic mountain panoramas in Nepal. After returning to Ghorepani for breakfast, continue trekking through forested ridges and scenic trails via Deurali Pass and Banthanti towards Tadapani. The route offers stunning mountain views, dense rhododendron forests, and peaceful natural surroundings throughout the day. Overnight at Tadapani Guest House.

After breakfast, descend through lush forests and terraced hillsides towards the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk. The trail passes through peaceful woodland paths with occasional openings that provide beautiful views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Upon arrival in Ghandruk, explore the charming stone-paved lanes, traditional houses and rich local culture of one of the most picturesque villages in the Annapurna region.

After breakfast, continue your trek descending towards the Modi Khola valley before crossing suspension bridges and gradually ascending towards Landruk. As you walk through peaceful landscapes and local settlements, experience the authentic rural lifestyle of the Annapurna region. Upon reaching Landruk, relax and enjoy the tranquil mountain atmosphere.

Today begin your trek towards Deurali and Pothana, following scenic forest trails and ridgeline paths with magnificent Himalayan views throughout the journey. Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spectacular Himalayan backdrop.

After breakfast, enjoy a gentle downhill trek through forests and local villages towards Kande. After breakfast, depart for Chitwan, traveling through scenic hills and rural landscapes. En route, stop at the charming hilltop town of Bandipur, known for its preserved Newari architecture and panoramic mountain views. Take time to stroll through its quiet streets and soak in the atmosphere before continuing your journey. Arrive in Chitwan, home to Nepal’s famous national park. Check in to your jungle lodge or resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Today, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Asia for wildlife viewing. These may include a jeep safari through the jungle in search of wildlife such as rhinos, deer and, if you're lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. You may also experience a peaceful canoe ride along the river, a guided jungle walk and a visit to a local village to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Tharu community.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rickshaw ride through the historic heart of the city, starting from Kathmandu Durbar Square and continuing to the bustling district of Thamel. This leisurely journey offers a unique perspective of local life, passing through narrow streets, vibrant markets and ancient temples. Kathmandu Durbar Square is a historic palace complex in the heart of old Kathmandu, known for its intricately carved temples, courtyards, and royal architecture. Once the seat of Nepal’s Malla kings, the square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers a glimpse into the city’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. The remainder of the day is free for shopping, relaxation, or further exploration.
